Vintage bus rolls have been taking off in the past few years and, to my knowledge, most have been used as wall art as in the first photo, from Apartment Therapy's fabulous Small, Cool 2010 contest. Completely wonderful. Now, brilliantly, British Route Sign Designs is taking the rolls - made of fabric - and using them for pillows, chairs, ottomans, lamp shades, and more. The result is pretty amazing. An 18x18 pillow is $110, a wingback chair is $2,500 and if you simply want the fabric, it's $175/yard in widths of 24"-38". Should I even mention my wish list here? Maybe I should rename my blog...
